This statistic shows the results of a survey on the opinion of consumers regarding the transparency of influencer marketing in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2018. The survey found that 61 percent of UK consumers felt that brands were not transparent enough about their use of influencer marketing. An even greater share of consumers believed that they should be informed if people are being paid to promote products, at 81 percent.
